Lasith Malinga not only tops the list but also comes up as the most fearsome bowler for the entire Batsman fraternity all along with his career. Moreover, it’s not only about IPL and he has also dominated the International cricket with the white ball for quite some time now.

Malinga started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians and he has been associated with them till the end after he was made the team’s mentor for the 2018 season. Moreover, he has taken a 5 wicket haul and four-wicket haul as well during his stint with the Mumbai Indians in IPL.

Over the years, Malinga has mostly been known for his toe crushing Yorkers and slower balls which have made him so threatening in the International cricketing Arena.

#2 Amit Mishra – Delhi Daredevils

Mishra, who has had an amazing International career with the Indian National Team as well, has taken 157 wickets in his IPL career so far. Quite interestingly, he has scalped three hat- tricks in the process which is also a record in the IPL history. It must also be mentioned that all these three hat-tricks have come for three different franchises that he played for over the years.

On the other hand, if we talk about his International T20 career, he only played 10 matches for India while taking 16 wickets in the process and hasn’t featured since them in the international arena. Talking about IPL 2018, he played for the Delhi daredevils and scalped 12 wickets during the whole tournament. As of now, he is just 9 wickets short of Malinga’s record of most wickets in IPL so far.

#3 Harbhajan Singh – Chennai Super Kings

Harbhajan Singh is that one bowler which has not only made his mark in the International cricket for the Indian team but also proved his mettle in his IPL stint as well. Although he played most of the time for his team Mumbai Indians in the IPL, he has recently been roped in by the Chennai Super kings team during the IPL 2019 auction.

Talking about his wickets tally, he scalped 150 wickets in total during his 11 seasons in IPL and quite convincingly, he is been one of the best spinners India has ever had. Although he was a bit miffed by Mumbai Indian not picking him during the IPL 2018, he still felt happier to be playing under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni while been picked up by the CSK team for 2 crores in the IPL auction. Moreover, IPL 2018 saw him taking 7 wickets in total during the whole tournament for his team CSK which also supported his team big time for winning the IPL trophy. While most of the people know him for being an outstanding off-spin bowler, he has also played some handy innings with the bat for his respective teams ever since he started playing in IPL.

Starting his career while playing with Kings XI Punjab, this leg spinner has claimed 150 wickets so far in his IPL career. Moreover, he is playing currently for the Kolkata Knight Riders team in IPL who have picked him in the IPL auction for 4.2 crores with their Right to match card and he went on to pick 14 wickets for them in the IPL 2018 out of 15 matches played.

Quite Interestingly, Chawla maintained a unique record of not bowling a no-ball until 2016 and he was the only bowler till then to not do so during his IPL career. Talking about his International career, Chawla has only grabbed 4 wickets in the 7 International matches he played so far.

#5 Dwayne Bravo – Chennai Super Kings

Talking about his IPL career, he has scalped in total 147 wickets so far and stands at the third spot in our list of Top 5 bowlers with the most wickets in the IPL history so far.

Bravo isn’t just a player and also been a great entertainer during his career. Besides playing cricket, he has also recorded some of the Music albums over the past years. Moreover, he also played a big role in West Indies’ victory in the 2016 T20 world cup which marked his dominance of being one of the best all-rounders in the World t20 as of now.

Talking about his stint in the IPL 2018, he rejoined his old team CSK after a gap of two years and went on to scalp 14 wickets out of the 16 matches that he played in the process. One of the main highlights of his IPL 2018 stint was his innings against the Mumbai Indians in the first match of the tournament where he took his team home from an almost impossible situation.
