CSK VS MI Match Summary: Mumbai Indians bowled out Chennai Super Kings for just 109 to win the match by 46 runs on Friday. Murli Vijay stood at one end while wickets kept tumbling on the other as Mumbai bowlers tore apart CSK batting line up, getting all ten wickets for just 109 runs.

Shane Watson who played a sensational knock in the last match fell cheaply after hitting two boundaries, Suresh Raina, who has struck only one half-century in the tournament followed him after scoring just two runs.

Krunal Pandya accounted for the next two wickets of Kedar Jadhav and Ambati Rayudu, both looked clueless against the left-arm spinner who wasn’t at his best till now.

Vijay played a valiant knock of 38 off 35 runs only before he surrendered too in the 12th over. Dwayne Bravo and Mitchell Santner tried hard to bring their team back with 20 and 22 respectively only to see a defeat at the end of the match on Saturday.

Lasith Malinga was the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai, having claimed as many as four wickets in his spell of four overs.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma guided Mumbai Indians to a decent 155 in 20 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored his first half-century of the season, and in the process, called time on his rough patch in the tournament. The right-handed batsman scored 67 runs off 48 deliveries, including three sixes and six fours. Rohit was also adjudged as the Man-of-the-match for his swashbuckling knock.

Evin Lewis played an uncharacteristic 32 run innings of 30 balls, including three fours and a six, while Hardik Pandya and Keiron Pollard remained unbeaten at 23 and 12 respectively.

Despite the loss, Chennai Super Kings are still leading the table with 16 points in 12 matches, while Mumbai Indians have jumped to the second position in the table with 14 points in 11 matches.
