Teams having the best opening combination tend to be a lot more successful than the ones whose openers turn up with not-so-good performances.

Virender Sehwag played 104 matches in IPL, scoring 2728 runs at an average of 27.55 and strike rate of 155.44. He has hit 2 centuries and 15 half-centuries in IPL.
