Chris Gayle, a former player for Royal Challengers Bangalore, uploaded a reel on social media following the team’s elimination from the IPL in 2023. The Bollywood song “Apun Jaise Tapori” from the movie “Munna Bhai MBBS” played in the background as Gayle sobbed about Virat Kohli and Co. missing out on the playoffs.

Notably, Gayle participated in 142 IPL games, accumulating 4965 points with a strike rate of around 150 and an average of close to 40. He still holds the IPL record for the most runs scored in a single inning (175 not out). He was an RCB player from 2011 to 2017.
Regarding RCB’s final league match of the IPL 2023, Shubman Gill once again proved he is Virat Kohli’s likely successor with a magnificent century as Gujarat Titans eliminated the team with a six-wicket victory, allowing Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians to advance as the fourth team in the play-offs in Bengaluru.
The best performance of the day appeared to be Kohli’s 61-ball 101 in RCB’s 197 for 5, but Gill, who will carry the Indian batting torch for the next ten years, proved that he is superior to the best.
Gill excelled at what Kohli did well, helping the Titans ebulliently pursue the goal with his unbroken 104 off 52 balls. This was Gill’s second consecutive hundred, just as the former captain of India Kohli.
Talking about Qualifier 1 which was played between GT and CSK, it was not less than a thriller, in which CSK defeated GT by just 15 runs to advance to the finals.
