Sourav Ganguly Shares First Picture with his New BCCI Team

Sourav Ganguly, who is on the verge to become BCCI president on October 23, finally shared the first picture of him with his new BCCI team on Twitter.

He stated “The new team at. @bcci .. hopefully we can work well .. anurag thakur thank you for seeing this through ⁦@ianuragthakur”.

The new team compromise of Jay Shah, Arun Dhumal Jayesh George and Mahim Verma who are set to play crucial roles in the team.

Let’s take a glance at the team member’s profiles:

Jayesh Shah- Jayesh Shah, son of Union Home minister Amit Shah will be the new secretary of BCCI.

Arun Dhumal- Arun Dhumal , brother of Anurag Thakur, the Minister of State Corporate Affairs will serve as BCCI new treasurer.

Jayesh George- Jayesh George will serve as the new joint secretary of the BCCI.

Mahim Verma-  Mahim Verma will act as new Vice President of BCCI.

If sources are to be believed Anurag Thakur played a role of catalyst in Ganguly getting the top position of the richest cricket board.

Ganguly, filed the nomination on Monday and later addressed the media stating that he never aspired to become the BCCI president and looked to bring back normalcy in Indian cricket.

“Hopefully in the next few months, we can put everything in place and bring back normalcy in Indian cricket,” Sourav Ganguly told reporters on Monday.

“I had never expressed my aspirations for this post. I never spoke to anyone. Until 10:30 in the night yesterday, I was not aware of this. Then I was informed that I have to be the President of the BCCI,” the former India captain added.

The ex- Indian skipper considered the position as a huge responsibility to manage the richest cricket board and pledged to make Indian administration best in the world, making everything in order.
