Kings Eleven Punjab will finish last in IPL 2020: Brad Hogg

Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg has said that Kings Eleven Punjab’s overseas contingent comprises of only match-winners such as Chris Gayle, Glen Maxwell and Jimmy Neesham to name a few. The spinner observed that these players aren’t consistent with their performances and thus the team might struggle in the tournament.

But the other guys there like Maxwell, Gayle and Neesham, they just have the odd standout games, they are not very consistent with what you want from an overseas player.” Brad Hogg made this observation in a video shared on his Youtube channel.

He said that there are a couple of overseas players such as Chris Jordan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who have specific roles to play and can perform on a consistent basis for the side.

For me their overseas player contingent is all match-winners apart from Rahman from Afghanistan and Jordan. Those two have specific roles in this particular team and are quality bowlers.” he added

Brad Hogg concluded by saying that the franchise is going to finish last this season due to an over-reliance of match-winners in their overseas department.

They are too much up and down. That’s why Kings XI are going to finish last.” Hogg said
