“Mental Drills at Formula 1 is ……”Kl Rahul on Good Form in the Ongoing Test Match against England

There are two kind of people- one who is talented and knows that there is lot of expectations from him to deliver time and again and other being the most hardworking people who are less talented but they keep on working hard on their craft in order to make sure they become Champion in their field.

KL Rahul belongs to first category as the ace batter who has batted primarily in all position is currently in the form of his life.

Post retirement from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, Opening responsibilities came on the broad shoulders of Kl Rahul who didn’t disappoint but scored 100 in Second test match at Edbaston followed by another hundred in Lords.

With 2 centuries at Lords, he falls in the category of those Indian batters to score 2 centuries in the longest format of the game at Home of Cricket.

Rahul has batted at almost all positions, but his best performance came at number 1 and 2 spot where he has accumulated most runs as he scored more than 1600 runs with highest score being 199 runs.

Rahul was asked about his innings to which he said ” I love to bat at top of the order as this is the exact position where I used to bat in my school cricket”

He also talked about his mental space and mental drills which he had attended with Red Bull(One of the best formula 1 teams in the world having the likes of Max Verstappen) where he said working on those people who are closely associated with adventure sports helped him a lot to improve his game.

“Yes I am closely associated with Red Bull which gave me an opportunity to work with people who are close to adventure sports in the world where I learned so many things about my game. I am exactly applying the same in my game which is helping me a lot”.

He also explained it further stating that “Also family wise everything is going great, I have young family and personally things are great now”.

Kl Rahul with another century at Lords cemented 10th Century in Test Cricket which doesn’t talk about the Kind of batter he is in the longest format of the game.

With two more matches to go, He would be expected to deliver big time for India especially in Opening scenario.

India would be playing next test match on 23rd July 2025 followed by last match which would be concluded on August first week.

If India somehow manages to win Lords Test which would be miracle in itself, It would give them psychological edge over England.

India have failed to win series in England from 2012 onwards as the last time when they put their head held high and delivered under the leadership of Rahul Dravid.

For India to win series against England, it will be psychological fight too apart from the one in the middle in terms of skills the one who would go under the radar of other team would emerge winner of this contest.
