Ambati Rayudu has seen a lot of disappointment in the past month or so. After being a big part of India’s plan for the World Cup as the reliable Number 4 batsman, he got the snub when Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) announced the team for the World Cup. Rayudu was left out while the 3-dimensional Vijay Shankar got the nod ahead of him.
Ambati Rayudu was visibly disappointed and expressed it out with a tweet:
Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup 😉😋..

The Indian team was going well but got themselves in a muddle with injuries to Shikhar Dhawan and later, Vijay Shankar. The replacement was called for both, but Rayudu’s name still didn’t get a mention. This would surely not go down well with the Hyderabadi batsman.
India’s middle order muddle has been the big talking point and with India’s batting heavily dependent on Kohli and Sharma, Rayudu could have added the much-needed experience. However, that did not happen.
But in all this, there is some respite that has come for Rayudu as the Iceland Cricket Board have come forward with open arms should Rayudu be considering a change. “Come join us Ambati. We love the Rayudu things,” a part of the tweet the Cricket Board sent out, read.
Agarwal has three professional wickets at 72.33 so at least @RayuduAmbati can put away his 3D glasses now. He will only need normal glasses to read the document we have prepared for him. Come join us Ambati. We love the Rayudu things. #BANvIND #INDvBAN #CWC19 pic.twitter.com/L6XAefKWHw
