The Delhi-based team debuted in the IPL in 2008 as the Delhi Daredevils. However, they adopted the name Delhi Capitals in the 11th edition of the Indian premier league. 1. Amit Mishra – 110 wickets in 103 matches

Amit Mishra, a seasoned Indian leg-spinner, currently holds the record for Delhi Capitals’ most wicket-taker. Mishra participated in the IPL from its very first season in 2008 to 2021. From 2008 to 2010, he began his career with Delhi. Afterward, he played for the Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad for two seasons. However, Mishra was once again retained by DC in 2015. Mishra participated in 103 games for Delhi in all, recording 110 wickets with a top mark of 5/17.

2. Kagiso Rabada – 76 wickets in 50 matches

South African pacers have a long history with Delhi Capitals. Another South African pacer, Kagiso Rabada, who has taken the second-most wickets for the team in the IPL, is also on this list. Rabada made his IPL debut in 2017 for Delhi. He represented them for five seasons, serving as the team’s top pacer until 2021. Rabada grabbed 76 wickets in 50 games for DC, with a high of 4/21. Morkel is another African bowler who has a good record with DC. Throughout his nine seasons of IPL career, former South African pacer Morne Morkel played for three different IPL franchises. His finest IPL season came in 2012, when he played 146 games for Delhi, took 25 wickets, and finished the season as DC’s leading wicket-taker.

4. Umesh Yadav – 47 wickets in 51 matches

Umesh Yadav, a seasoned Indian bowler, began his IPL career playing for the Delhi Capitals. He played for Delhi till 2013, making his IPL debut in 2009. In 2021, he rejoined Delhi once again. He spent six seasons with them in all. For the Delhi team, Umesh has taken 47 wickets in 51 games with an economy rate of 7.93. He had his finest season for them in 2012, when he took 19 wickets in 17 games.

5. Anrich Nortje – 43 wickets in 30 matches

Fifth on the list is South African speedster Anrich Nortje, one of the quickest bowlers in contemporary cricket.
