IND Vs AUS 3rd Test : Umesh Yadav hopeful of defending a low total of 76 on Day 3!

After losing the first two Tests on Day 3, Australia made an outstanding comeback in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2022/23. The Indore test is a must-win game for Australia, but if they win, India will have to wait until the fourth Test at Gujarat to compete in the ICC World Test Championship final at the Oval.

The only option for Rohit Sharma’s team to qualify for back-to-back WTC finals is to win the series by a score of 3-1 or 4-0. On that note, Indian speedster Umesh Yadav who picked his 100th Test wicket for India by removing the stumps of Mitchell Starc. The right-arm pacer after the match said that he is hopeful that Indian bowlers can put up an outstanding performance to defend a low total of 76 runs.

“Definitely, we will remain positive. It’s cricket and with the way the pitch is playing, you never know, anything can happen. We are trying our best. We will try to get early wickets, and keep it tight on Day 3 morning. We will try and get quick wickets.”
