Many experts have not given a chance to Afghanistan as the team who will finish in Top 4 semifinalist and termed them Dark horses in the upcoming marquee event but the fact is quite opposite to what they believe as they are a formidable side and can beat any team on the given day.

Experienced players like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi will share their experience with the rest of their teammates as they have played T20 leagues all over the world.

Mohammad Shahzad and Hazaratulluah Zazai are the attacking batsmen can put any bowling lineup under pressure and with Mujeeb Ur Rehman a mystery spinner in their lineup can challenge any batter on any conditions.

Many experts have also ignored the fact that Afghanistan plays most of their matches in UAE as have registered victory against various International sides by a comfortable margin.

Afghanistan cricket has grown at a vast pace in the last 3-4 years and credit should be given where it is due to their board who have expanded the game so beautifully but recently received a lot of flaks of not clearing their stance of allowing women cricketers of the country to play international cricket.

Also, Cricket Australia canceled the solo Test series that was scheduled in Hobart against Afghanistan stating that if a country can’t fight for its women’s rights and trying to suppress their voice then we would not like to play bilateral series against them. Tim Paine went one step further and advised ICC not allow Afghanistan to play in T20 World Cup 2021 and also suggested rest of the countries stop playing against Afghanistan in the marquee event.
