Former Pakistan cricketer turned commentator Ramiz Raja lavished praise of Peshwar Zalmi and Afghanistan national team batter Hazratullah Zazai for playing outstanding knock in the ongoing edition of PSL against Islamabad United to make sure that his franchise play final against Multan Sultan for the title.
He said that he will not be surprised if Afghanistan team who have talents like Zazai, Rashid and Nabi upset Pakistan in the upcoming T20 encounter as the former side have all base covered. He also adviced Pakistan think tank management to find talent like Zazai who can deliver in the crunch moments of the game.
“Pakistani fans have not seen lot of Zazai before. There are few more players like him in the Afghanistan team . Islamabad United have three T20 players who are part of Pakistan current setup and They bowled to Zazai in the recently concluded encounter including Shadab Khan who is part of Pakistan T20 team. But none of them could make any impact on Zazai who has raw talent and ability. His temperanent is very strong. This is the attitude that makes Afghanistan a dangerous side . I won’t be surprised if Afghanistan upset Pakistan in the upcoming T20 encounter between these two sides”
Ramiz is absolutely spot on with his assumption on Afghanistan cricket as over the years they have played superb cricket and emerged victorious on most occasion. Afghanistan recently gave a nightmare to India and Pakistan team in recently concluded 2019 World Cup.
