Afghanistan Cricket Board has signed a 10 year strategic partnership with Radio Television of Afghanistan( RTA) which consist of Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) for conducting Afghanistan Premier League T20 which will be valid from 2021 to 2030.

The MOU was signed in an event organised in Kabul , where all the top management from both organisations as well as officials from Government and Afghanistan National Olympic Committee were present.
On this occasion RTA Chairman Ismail Miakhail said that All Afghan cricket players are the pride of Afghanistan as they have represented the country with dignity across the globe.His statement was reciprocated by ACB President Farhan Yusefzai who added that ” RTA and ACB will work together to achieve more. With coordination from both entities, APL T20 will be a huge success” .
APL T20 will provide another opportunity for young players to shine and grow strength to strength from Afghanistan International players . Meanwhile Afghanistan skipper Asghar Afghan believed that APL T20 will provide a great platform for Youngster to showcase their talents.
“APL T20 will produce many players , which will raise the overall standard of domestic cricket in the country. APL T20 will strengthen Afghan cricket both from technical and financial aspects as players, coaches and administration will earn revenue from the league” .
The second edition of Afghanistan Premier League T20 will be held in UAE which will have many overseas players in addition to players from Afghanistan domestic circuit.Afghanistan top players like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rehman have inspired next generation of cricketers in Afghanistan by their amazing performances in top T20 leagues in the world.
