#5) Tilak Verma (64 Runs)- Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians player had some success against Lucknow Super Giants when his team struggled throughout the 2022 campaign. In both games, Mumbai Indians failed to win the game whereas KL Rahul scored centuries in both games. In the first game, Tilak Verma had 38 from 27 deliveries while chasing a moderate target of 164 whereas he scored 26 from 26 deliveries. Both came in a losing cause as the team could not chase the target.

 

#4) Prithvi Shaw (66 Runs)- Delhi Capitals

Prithvi Shaw has been suffering from poor form and fever in the last few games of IPL 2022 but scored a half-century against LSG in one of the two games. He helped his side score 149 which was chased easily by LSG. In the half-century inning, he had nine fours and two sixes. The player batted at a strike rate of 179.41.

#3) Rishabh Pant (83 Runs)- Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals have played two innings against Lucknow Super Giants and Rishabh Pant has emerged as the third-highest run-getter against LSG amongst all the batters. In one game, Rishabh Pant scored 39 from 36 deliveries with two sixes and three fours. In the other game, he scored 44 runs from 30 deliveries at a strike rate of 146.67.

 

#2) Faf du Plessis (96 Runs)- Royal Challengers Bangalore

In the two-game against Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s skipper, Faf du Plessis became the second-highest run-getters against LSG. He could not score the century but took the bowlers to task with his stupendous batting, Faf du Plessis missed out on the well-deserved century in the final over.

At Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium, Faf du Plessis scored 96 from 64 deliveries and his innings consisted of 11 fours and two sixes. He scored at a healthy strike rate of 150 to take the side over 180. RCB were able to win the game comfortably.

 

#1) Rajat Patidar (112* runs)- Royal Challengers Bangalore

In the only game against Lucknow Super Giants, Rajat Patidar became the highest run-getter against LSG in IPL. Rajat Patidar also became the first uncapped player in the history of IPL to score a century in playoffs. Rajat achieved this accomplishment during the Eliminator match against LSG at Eden Gardens.

RCB batter Rajat Patidar smashed an unbeaten 112 runs off just 54 delivers to help his team to achieve a massive total of 207/4. Rajat Patidar’s innings consisted of 11 fours and 7 sixes with a strike rate of 207.41. Rajat Patidar also became the first batsman to score a century for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the playoffs.
