Faf du Plessis is a professional cricket player, who plays for the South Africa National Cricket Team and has been a part of the outfit since 2004. He has been among the most successful players for the side. Faf du Plessis has had a successful stint with the side. Faf du Plessis was born on Jul 13, 1984, in Pretoria. Faf du Plessis made his ODI/T20/Test debut for South Africa National Cricket Team on 2004.

Faf du Plessis’s main role in the team is that of a batsman, and is a prolific Right Handed Bat, having scored plenty of runs for the teams, both in domestic and international cricket. He can also bowl part-time spin/pace and bowls Right-arm legbreak. He is a brilliant fielder and can field anywhere on the ground. He is good with both his, ground fielding, and his catching.

Faf du Plessis plays for the South Africa National Cricket Team in ODI/T20/Test format. He represents  Chennai Super Kings, Edmonton Royals, Lancashire, Northerns, Rising Pune Supergiants, South Africa A, South Africa Under-19s, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Titans, World-XI team in domestic cricket and is also a part of the Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians. He has also previously played for Mumbai Indians, in the Indian Premier League.
