Over the years I have been following cricket there is one thing which is very evident that English and Australian players can sledge you but if you retaliate them back you are considered foul mouth and that is what Nick Compton thinks who has played 16 Test matches and scored 775 runs and scored 2 centuries has called Indian skipper “Foul Mouth” and wrote that the likes of Root, Tendulkar and Williamson are the grounded guys barring Kohli.
“Isn’t Kohli the most foul mouthed individual. I’ll Never forget the barrage of abuse I received in 2012 when the swearing stunned me to the point that he did himself a serious disservice. It highlights what a level headed and grounded man Root, Tendulkar, Williamson” wrote Compton.
Let us talk about Indian skipper stats where he has scored 70 International centuries and already his playing tenure considered as one of the greats of the game doesn’t need to prove to Nick Compton whose name hardly anyone has heard and Kohli is not just the Legend of the game but also the most popular figure when it comes to international cricket.
If you show aggression and it is backed by the performance like Kohli you are free to express yourself but a player like Compton who doesn’t have any say on International cricket and no such achievements can call our skipper whatever he wants but no one can deny achievements of King Kohli.
Indian skipper replied to Englishmen in their own style on the Last day of Lords which was started initially by English bowlers who unnecessarily targeted Bumrah in retrospect it was replied by Indian players in the same style.
