On Sunday, Australia bowler Nathan Lyon was followed on Instagram by India spinner Ravindra Jadeja. He did, however, specify that he would only follow the off-spinner for a day. In his Instagram story, Jadeja stated, “Following my friend Nathan Lyon for 24 hours,” along with smiling emojis.
Jadeja included a screenshot of his Instagram profile along with the caption. Jadeja has more over five million Instagram followers, but the only person he follows is Lyon. The Australian spinner, meantime, took a screenshot of Jadeja’s Instagram tale and posted it to his own Instagram account.
Jadeja and Lyon are competing in the ongoing India-Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Regarding the current four-match Test series, India currently holds a commanding 2-0 lead. Before winning the second game in New Delhi by six wickets, they won the first Test in Nagpur by an innings and 132 runs. The Indian spin pair of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja has so far defeated the Cummins-led Australia in the series. Whereas, Jadeja gave outstanding performance and took 7 wickets in the second innings of the 2nd test match against Australia.
On Sunday, BCCI announced Team India’s squads for the third and fourth Tests as well as the three-match ODI series. The hosts’ roster for the final two Tests against the visitors was unaltered.
