21-year-old left handed batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has broken all the previous records and has become the fastest batter in the history of IPL to score 50 runs. He has looked in sublime form throughout the 2023 IPL campaign and his fastest 50 describes the type of momentum he has right now.

 

It took young Yashasvi Jaiswal just 12 balls to amass 50 runs against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the iconic Eden Gardens on match number 56. The youngster has dealt the weak KKR bowling line-up with rapid fire 4’s and 6’s. The way he is batting at the Eden Gardens, he can also break the record of fastest IPL Century by legend Chris Gayle who took 5 overs (30) balls to touch triple digits.

Jaiswal is gaining a lot of appreciation from fans on social media and even star batter Virat Kohli wrote “Wow this is some of the best batting I’ve seen in a while. What a Talent @yashasvijaiswal” on his Instagram story.
