Mushfiqur Rahim to raise funds for combatting coronavirus by auctioning his bat

Bangladesh senior cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim has done so much for his country when it comes to cricket as several times he has taken his side home and his experience behind the wickets is magical.

However, this pandemic has affected Bangladesh like every other country.

In order to fight against this pandemic, Mushfiqur Rahim will be auctioning his bat to raise funds for all the victims of his country who are suffering from this deadly virus.

This bat is special for Rahim as he scored his maiden double century for Bangladesh with this bat in the longest format of the game.

Rahim informed his followers on Twitter “This bat is precious to me as I have scored my maiden double hundred from it”.

“A lot of memories have been associated with this bat but considering the impact that this virus has brought in our country I have decided to auction this and generate funds for corona victims. Stay tuned for more information-MR15”. Rahim added that.

As cricketers from all across the globe have come forward to help people either they have contributed financially or through auction and they have generated huge amounts for funds to help the deprived class.

Recently KL Rahul has come forward and he said that he will be selling his kit, equipment and other cricket accessories to raise funds so that we can help the people who are struggling with this COVID 19 in our country.
