On-field or off-field, Virat Kohli always proves why he is the hero of many and has time and again justified his fan following. The player along with his wife Anushka Sharma has donated an undisclosed amount to the PM-CARES fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra) to help the government in providing medical facilities to the victims of the coronavirus infection and maintaining a seamless supply of basic commodities to the families of the needy.
As the country is going through an extremely hard time under the grip of the global outbreak of coronavirus, with a scary upsurge in the number of COVID-19 cases and the death toll rising proportionally by every passing day, it has compelled the government to impose a complete lockdown of the entire nation to stop the spread of the virus. However, this has posed to be a problematic situation for poor households and daily wage workers with no income to arrange for their basic essentials.
To help out the needy, their fellow citizens, many cricketers have come forward with their share of contributions in these desperate times. And Virat Kohli also didn’t back off, but what sets him apart is the fact that he chose to keep the sum of his donation confidential.
He made the shared this decision on Twitter and posted:
“Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps to ease the pain of our fellow citizens #IndiaFightsCorona”

Loved the fact that he didn't reveal the amount. 🙏🏻❤️
Not saying what others did is wrong, donating is nice whether amount's revealed or not.😬
