On-field or off-field, Virat Kohli always proves why he is the hero of many and has time and again justified his fan following. The player along with his wife Anushka Sharma has donated an undisclosed amount to the PM-CARES fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra) to help the government in providing medical facilities to the victims of the coronavirus infection and maintaining a seamless supply of basic commodities to the families of the needy.

He made the shared this decision on Twitter and posted:
“Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps to ease the pain of our fellow citizens #IndiaFightsCorona”
