After waiting for long, the BCCI finally released the IPL 2020 schedule on Sunday. As per the official schedule, Mumbai Indians will play the first match of the tournament against CSK on 19th September 2020. MI will play their first three out of four matches in Abu Dhabi.

Mumbai Indians will play two afternoon games this season. One will be played against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 4th October, while the other will be played against Delhi Capitals on 31st October 2020.

Mumbai Indians will play their last league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 3rd November at Sharjah cricket ground.
Rohit Sharma and boys will play eight games in Abu Dhabi and three games each in Dubai and Sharjah.

MUMBAI INDIANS GEARED UP TO CLINCH FIFTH IPL TITLE:

Mumbai Indians is the most successful franchise in the history of IPL. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Mumbai have won four IPL titles. They defeated CSK by one run in the final match of last year’s IPL to clinch their fourth IPL title.

Ahead of 2020 IPL, they have bought some world-class players to bolster their team such as Trent Boult, Chris Lynn among others.

Mumbai Indians recently were struck with a huge blow after Lasith Malinga decided to opt-out of IPL this year, citing personal reasons. Malinga is the highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL and his exit should prove to be a big blow for Rohit and Co. James Pattinson has been picked as a replacement for Malinga.
