The 13th edition of Indian Premier League will take place in UAE this year. The players are currently in a bio-bubble and practising hard for the tournament. Rajasthan Royals’ bowler, Jaydev Unadkat recently talked about life inside the bubble. The bowler said that living inside a bubble is a tough ask. But given that the guys are doing what they love, there is no point complaining about it.

Life in a bubble is not really easy, to be honest, but we are getting to play cricket and that’s one thing which we all love, so no complaints. We have a lot of protocols to follow. We are getting used to it,” Unadkat.

The matches of IPL 2020 will be played in closed doors. The fans won’t be allowed to enjoy the games this year due to Covid-19 threat. The team would not be having the support they used to get at their home venues. IPL 2020 would be different, indeed.

IPL will be different this season. There won’t be any crowd in the stadium. We have to remain inside the bubble. But to get to play cricket in this time is itself a boon and I am really looking forward to the tournament,” Unadkar told ANI.

Jaydev Udadkat led Saurashtra to win their maiden Ranji title in the last concluded season. The skipper played a vital role in helping the team win the title. He hopes that he would carry his form in the IPL.

I think I had a fantastic domestic season not just personally but as a team as well. We won the Ranji trophy and that gave me a lot of confidence. I keep saying that the last ball that I bowled won as the trophy.” He added

IPL 2020 is slated to play on 19th September 2020. The first match of the tournament will be played between Mumbai and Chennai Super Kings. The last time when the two teams met, Mumbai Indians defeated CSK by just one run to lift the IPL title for the fourth time.
