Lakshya, who was ousted in the second round of Irish Open, had made necessary changes in the game ahead of the tournament the changes he made paid dividend as he dished out outstanding performances right from the beginning.

In the opening game of the summit clash, Lakshya was trailing initially, however, he managed to turn the tables to grab a 10-8 lead. The comeback for the Indian was not enough, as the Brazilian went on to register six straight points to run away with the game 21-18.
