Having made his debut at international level in 2011 Taylor went on to play 34 test matches so far and 24 one international that include 2015 world cup. The right-hander with strong batting technique and ability to sweep has seen as a vital cog in England batting line-up especially in test cricket.

At county level also James Taylor continues to impress everybody by his strong performances for Nottinghamshire though he started his career with Leicestershire he moved to Nottinghamshire to move his career forward.
