Speaking of the most recent developments, India immediately declined to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2023 for security reasons, whilst Pakistan declined to travel to India for the World Cup in 2023.

According to rumours, Pakistan will visit India for the major occasion.

India won’t visit Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup; instead, they will play every game in the United Arab Emirates, according to a decision made in another round of meetings involving Asian cricket nations.

Some teams, however, will participate in their previously scheduled games in Pakistan.

India will play in the UAE if they make it to the final.

This rings true in a big way, as India won’t travel to Pakistan right now due to the peculiar connection these two neighbours have, the political unrest, and the security lapse in Pakistan.

India is currently playing Test series against Australia in Delhi as part of Border-Gavaskar Trophy whereas Pakistan team is playing PSL another edition.

These two teams will meet on two events in the coming year which include Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023 respectively.
