Game streaming platform Rooter is all set to host esports tournament

Popular Esports streaming platform Rooter is all set to host Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) at the end of this month.  The tournament will become pathway for all the teams who are keenly looking to qualify for “Pro Series LAN” scheduled later this year. 

32 teams will be participating for the marquee event which will include- 24 invited and eight underdog teams who will be competing against each other in 10 day tournament.  BGMI is touted as one of the most popular mobile gaming in India.

All the teams will be competing for prize pool worth Rs 15 Lakh and these events will be broadcasted in six languages on the platform. 

Where does India stands currently in global Esports market?

Teams like Godlike Esports, OR Esports, Chemin Esports, Orangutan Gaming, Team Celtz, Revenge Esports, Godlike Girls, Rivalary, Enigma Gaming, Nigma Galaxy, R Esports and others will be participating in the competition.

According to report from Statista, revenue of Esports industry will be around 2.5 billion.
