In a few days, the IPL season will begin, with ten teams competing for the coveted championship.

After the first WPL edition, the IPL will start on March 31, 2023, and go through May 27, 2023.

Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants will square off in Ahmedabad’s opening round encounter at 7.30 p.m.

In the presence of skipper KL Rahul, Lucknow Super Giants owners and club officials unveiled the team’s new uniform prior to the main event.

On LSG’s social media account, the official Jersey was shared which displayed the message “Naya Rang, Naya Josh, Nayi Umeed and Naya Andaaz” 

It is a blue color jersey with red and green strips mentioned on it and official logo mentioned in it.

There was mixed opinion when jersey was launched across different sections of people where few stated ” What Kind of color of this as most of the franchise including the likes of DC, MI and now LSG all have Blue shades mentioned in their shirt”.

Another section wrote “Relived to see India’s blue dress again in the form of LSG “.

KL Rahul will captain the franchise whose track record as batter has been phenomenal and the franchise have opted for some players in the recently concluded IPL auction which include buying Nicholas Pooran for INR 16 crore.

Other bowlers including the likes of Romario Shepherd, Jaydev Unadkat and Daniel Sams will strengthen their bowling lineup.

Lucknow Super Giants have reached at the playoffs stage once but they need to get their tactics right so that they can become a force to reckon with in the upcoming encounter.

Indian Premier League will be returning to India across distinct venues where every franchise will play one game at home and other away in the league stages.
