Former India batter and the current mentor of Lucknow Super Giants “Gautam Gambhir” played a vital knock of 75 and 97 runs in 2007 and 2011 World Cup final in the past as a player and was one of the key batsman for Men in Blue in winning those prestigious titles.
Gambhir now wear so many hats – He is current MP from East Delhi and the ace batter is also know for working for social cause where he introduced 1rs Kitchen service in his constituency East Delhi for everyone which clearly indicates the noble heart this man possess.
When Gambhir was roped in by Lucknow Super Giants Franchise ahead of IPL 2022 as mentor, many would have thought this team will do well considering the strong resume Delhi batter had in the cash rich league.
But who would have thought two new franchise, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titians will be standing at the top two position in the points table at the half way stage of marquee event.

Yesterday when Lucknow Super Giants reached at the top of points table after crushing KKR for 75 runs, netizens started appreciating mentor Gautam Gambhir on social media. But the question arises Do Gambhir deserve all the laurels for the success of Lucknow Super Giants despite they have someone like Andy Flower as coach who is an experience campaigner and KL Rahul as leader?
To cut long story short- Gambhir has been the architect for the success of Lucknow Super Giants and deserve all the accolades coming his way.
Many a times we have seen pictures shared on the official social media account of LSG where we have seen KL Rahul and Gambhir discussing the strategies and the players like Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan are backed by mentor Gambhir to deliver in the crunch phase of the game. For the qualities like this he deserves all the appreciation.

Before we jump in and share the players statement after their fantabulous performance in the ongoing edition of IPL 2022 about mentor Gambhir.
LSG middle order bater Deepak Hooda lavished praise on the management and mentor Gambhir for backing him and clearly defining his role and added that the latter has always motivated him to do better in the important moments of the game.
“100%, sir. I am carrying that confidence but at the same time, the team management also backs me a lot. Gauti bhai talks with a similar hunger that I have for the game and I like that attitude. The way he was as a player and the way he talks with the players now, is very motivating for me.”
He didn’t stop here and added that the best part about Gambhir is that the latter is very straightforward and has clearly communicated with me about my role in the squad.
“It might be a challenge for other players but I didn’t feel any such thing. Andy sir was there at Punjab as well and then as I said, Gauti bhai is very straightforward and keeps the talk very clear. I like when that happens, there’s no miscommunication. There’s a lot of clarity so it took no time to gel up here,” he added.
@GautamGambhir is all smiles looking at the preparedness of your #SuperGiants :’)#AbApniBaariHai💪#IPL2022 🏆 #bhaukaalmachadenge #lsg #LucknowSuperGiants #T20 #TataIPL #Lucknow #UttarPradesh #LSG2022 pic.twitter.com/VCvxriI5nQ

Ayush Badoni has been found of this season along with Tilak Verma but the former has praised mentor Gambhir for backing him like an elder brother and this is the biggest reason why Badoni is doing well for LSG in IPL 2022.
“Gautam bhaiya is a legend of the game and has played a lot of cricket so he knows everything about the sport. Big thanks to him for backing me. He is my mentor and like an older brother to me”
Manish Pandey who had played with Gambhir in KKR camp and currently playing under his mentorship in IPL 2022 for LSG recently said while taking to one of the media outlets, that the latter is a serious guy but he always stand for the team when the going is tough.
“I played with him in KKR a couple of years ago and have hardly seen him smile. We got to be away from him when the times are tough. But he’s always there with the team, helping the boys out. He’s quite a serious guy.”
If the statement comes from one player, you might think they are showering praise on Gambhir for the kind of class batter he is but when several cricketers echoed the same statement, means that Gambhir is doing fantastic job as mentor of LSG and don’t be surprise if Gambhir guides this new franchise towards winning the IPL title.
So in simple words- He deserved all the appreciations coming his way as he has been the legend, great servant and key members of India & KKR glory in the past and his job as mentor of LSG has been top notch in IPL 2022.
