- Chamara Silva: Former Sri Lanka batsman Chamara Silva was selected to play for Deccan Chargers who have molded their name to Sun Risers Hyderabad. In the first season of IPL Silva came out to bat at number 4th position lost his wicket to Kohli before he could open his account in IPL and he handed the catch to Shreevats Goswami on the second delivery he faced.
- Brendon Mccullum: Brendon McCullum will not only be remembered for developing Kane Williamson as his deputy for his national side along with that he is still remembered for starting IPL with a bang where in the first match of IPL he played in 2008 he scored 158 runs against RCB.In 2011, McCullum he played for Kochi Tuskers Kerala where he scored 45 runs but lost his wicket to Kohli before the ace batsman can complete his fifty. - Wriddhiman Saha: Saha was the last batsman which was dismissed by Kohli in IPL and it came in the 2011 edition when Saha was a member of the Chennai Super Kings squad and Kohli bowled one over and picked up Saha wicket. Taking more about the match CSK was down to 22/4 when Saha join hands with MS Dhoni. The two wicket keepers added 42 runs in the middle before Kohli broke the partnership by clinching Saha’s wicket. He hit a shot which was handed to fielder Luke Pomersbach off Kohli’s bowling.
