Virender Sehwag’s tweet for Yuvraj Singh on his birthday has won over the internet

Yuvraj Singh, one of the best all-rounders in the history of Indian cricket, turned 38 on Thursday. Although he has retired from all formats of cricket, he still remains as loved as ever and that is visible from birthday wishes that have kept pouring for him on social media the whole day.

Yuvraj’s former India colleague Virender Sehwag also joined the bandwagon in wishing the cricketer and came up with a unique tweet for him which has won hearts all over the social media.

Sehwag typed all the English alphabets from A to Z on his Twitter handle except U and V, saying that “UV” is rare to find.

He then said when the going gets tough, Yuvraj gets going, reminding fans of how the batsman battled cancer and played international cricket even after that.

“A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T W X Y Z , you will find in plenty. But UV is a very one rare one. Happy Birthday dear Yuvi @YUVSTRONG12. When the going gets tough, Yuvi gets going. Best wishes always and #HappyBirthdayYuvi,” read the former India opener’s tweet.

Yuvraj announced retirement from all formats of international cricket earlier this year, having failed to make a comeback in international cricket for close to two years. While he made himself available for franchise cricket, Yuvraj retired from the Indian Premier League in which he was a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in 2019 but was given only two games.
