Indian Sports is on rise and the success at the recently concluded Olympics and Paralympics in terms of winning 7 and 19 medals respectively is just a beginning for Sports in India barring cricket which is already established a lot in the country will keep on increasing from now onwards.
Different events in the field of Shooting, Archery, Badminton, and Weightlifting have been announced where experienced and young Indian team will take part starting with World Archery Championship which is all set to be scheduled from 19th-26th September in Yankton, USA. However, no such players who take part in Olympics 2020 will be participating in the upcoming event the new Indian faces will be taking part which includes Komalika Bari, Ridhi Phor, Sangam Bisla, Muskan Kirar and Parth Salunke along others will be representing India.
Let’s talk about Sports Shooting where the event will be hosted in Las Palmas will host the tournament between September 27th -10th October and players like Manu Bhaker, Ayushi Poddar, Anish Banwala, Shapath Bhardwaj along with 40+ shooters from India will be taking part in the competition.
Let’s dive into Wrestling, a sport which is giving India medal Olympics back to back from 2008 onwards so the wrestler including Sarita Mor, Pooja Jatt, Ritu Mallick and Ravinder Dahiya and other few stars will be taking part in World Wrestling Championship which will be conducted in Norway from October 2nd-10th 2021.
Indian Badminton contingents including both male and female will be representing nation in Badminton known as Thomas and Uber Cup which is scheduled to take place between 9-17th October in Denmark. In Uber Cup India is placed along with China, Tahiti and the Netherlands in Group C.
Taking about Thomas Cup, Indian contingents have been placed along with Spain, Scotland and Thailand.
