The West Indian goliath has been one of the best there is for the Tridents and has been an inseparable part of the team, while the West Indian did spend one season away from his home team at Guyana Warriors, the hometown hero was quick to make his return to the Tridents.

Dwayne Smith has played 47 games for the Tridents, where the West Indian batsman has scored 1305 runs with an average of 30.34. He has also scored four centuries as well as four half-centuries which consolidate him as one of the top batsmen to play in the league.
