The most prestigious league in the world gives players a stage on which to display and improve their cricketing abilities. For many young cricketers, playing in the Indian Premier League is the ultimate goal. In order to represent their country, players dedicate a significant portion of their lives to playing. However, not every player had the chance to do so. The players who were previously Kolkata Knight Riders stars but are now being ignored by the same franchise.

1. Manvinder Bisla

When he joined Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011 to fill in the place of Brad Haddin, the Haryana batsman created a name for himself. He went on to emerge as KKR’s champion in the championship game, scoring 89 runs off 48 balls to assist his club win its first championship. He was expected to become the next big thing in Indian cricket after displaying steely nerves in the nail-biting finals. Bisla is now forgotten by the fans.

2. Iqbal Abdulla

With Kolkata Knight Riders, the Mumbai spinner won the 2011 emerging player of the Year award. He frequently bowled first for his team and worried several of the best batting players in the world. His performance declined throughout the 2012 season, as his economy rose while his wickets column had unimpressive figures.

The spinner is now forgotten by the fans.

3. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey who rose to fame with Kolkata Knight Riders also played for the national cricket team. Star right-hand batter spent years with the KKR franchise. While playing for the franchise, he performed the best innings of his IPL career till now. Pandey earned a name for himself while playing for KKR. The batter is now abandoned by the franchise.
