Australia won the third test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India on Friday at Indore. Came into the limelight after taking a solid 11 wickets in the match, Nathan Lyon became the sensation for India. On being asked about his remaining career in international cricket, Hussey has expressed his views on Lyon’s career for how long he will continue to play for Australia. He feels that Lyon still has years to go. He said that he should continue to represent Australia as long as his body accompanies his elite-level performance in years to come. He feels that spinners in cricket mature after 30. He further added with a belief that most spinners come into their peak into their 30s or late 30s and as far as Nathan is concerned, he is still young and I don’t see a way as of now for him to look towards rest or retirement. “He should play as long as he wants”, he finally added.

Australian sublime off-spinner Nathan Lyon has seen massive growth in his life after starting his career as a right arm off-spinner. Despite having a mediocre start for Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Lyon returned with his amazing spell, taking 8 wickets in the second inning and 3 wickets in the first inning of the third test match against India at Indore. Although Australia is behind in the series with 2-1, it will leave no stone unturned to level up the series 2-2 by winning the final fourth test match of the series against India. Whereas India would also want to qualify for the world championship by turning the final into their name.

Australia won the third match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Indore. The final match of the series will be played in Ahmedabad starting on March 9. India is leading the series with 2-1 after winning the first and second matches in Nagpur and Delhi.
