Pakistan Cricket: Haroon Rashid appointed as new chief selector of Pakistan National team
Ramiz Raja was replaced as president of the national cricket team by Najam Sethi, signaling a change in the status quo in Pakistani cricket.
Regarding the most recent development, Haroon Rasheed was chosen to serve as Pakistan’s new head selector.
Shahid Afridi, the interim chief selector, will be replaced by him. He faces a difficult assignment because the Pakistani national team has lost home series against Australia and New Zealand.
He was a member of the PCB management committee, but in order to avoid any potential conflicts of interest, he resigned from that position and accepted the position of chief selector.
Haroon has served Pakistan for 23 Test and 12 ODI matches he was also head of National Performance Centre last year he resigned his post to take further opportunities.
As chief selector, Shahid Afridi made some fantastic picks for Pakistan cricket.
