Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju urges people to protect Earth

India has done well in the recent past in all types of games and it is also because of the inception of so many domestic leagues like Pro Badminton League (PBL), Pro Kabaddi League, and Indian Super League (ISL) in the respective games which is Badminton, Kabaddi, Football, etc.

Especially the Kabaddi players along with football players have done so well in those leagues and they are getting recognition as the matches are forecasted on Tv. Thanks to Star Sports. Kiran Rijiju after taking oath as a sports minister has brought about reform in the sports department in India.

As “Khelo India Youth Games” was taken to different scales under his leadership and he along with all the officials should be congratulated for that.

Recently he has urged people to “Protect mother Earth” and preserve its “Pristine Natural beauty” on the occasion of World Earth Day.

Rijiju took to Twitter and posted a video to share an aerial view of the forest in Arunachal Pradesh.

“On #Earth Day 2020 I want to show you my home state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. This forest in Arunachal Pradesh is so dense that the sunlight never reaches the ground.”

“Let’s pledge to protect our beautiful mother earth & preserve its pristine natural beauty. #India Fights Corona,” Rijiju captioned the video.

Earlier PM Modi urged people to work towards the cleaner, healthier, and prosperous environment on this World Earth Day. Prime Minister Modi also appreciated to all those officials who are working at the forefront to defeat COVID 19.
