LA Clippers’ guard Lou Williams has reportedly decided to join the squad in Orlando for the NBA restart at the end of the month.

Earlier, Williams had said that he might not join his side in the season restart due to the threat of the coronavirus but on Friday he was seen coming out of the place along with his teammates in Orlando.

Williams is, undoubtedly, one of the most crucial players of the Clippers and also considered the best sixth-man for the side. Besides, he is also the third-best scorer of the side, coming off the bench.

Clippers’s coach Doc Rivers spoke about Williams’ inclusion on a zoom call interview as he said, “As far as Lou, all indications [are] that yes, he is [playing]. Obviously, up until we get on the plane, anything can happen. But I do expect Lou to be with us. I would be very surprised if he’s not.”

In a video posted by Lou Williams’s PR team, it was clearly visible that the guard is all prepped to join his team at the World Disney Resort in Orlando to play the remaining games of the season. While there have been some players who have opted out of the season, Lou Williams joins those players who have joined their respective teams.

The 33-year-old shooting guard is currently averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 assists and 3.1 assists per game for the Clippers this season and his pairing with Kawhi Leonard is unbreakable by the opponents.

LA Clippers will play their first match against their arch-rivals Los Angeles Lakers on July 30 when the season resumes and they will play seven matches before the playoff begins.
