The discarded Washington Wizards’ guard Isaiah Thomas, who started his season of 2019-20 with the Wizards played 40 games for the side before they traded him. The two times NBA All-Star has the current season average of 12.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, which is absolutely contrasting to his overall career numbers.

Isaiah was a part of the Marcus Morris trade deal that saw him move to the LA Clippers, however, his stay in the Clippers didn’t last for more than two days as the Clippers waived him off because of good depth in their roster already. But Isaiah Thomas is still confident of bouncing back in the league with an expectation of playing in the league ‘real soon’.

“Why wouldn’t I get another shot tho? I started 40 games this season got thrown in a trade to make it work to a team that didn’t want me. Nothing more nothing less. All you need is ONE team to want you. I’ll get back to it real soon,” he tweeted yesterday.

Thomas had been consistent starters for the Washington Wizards, has bounced back in the NBA in recent years, declines the idea of playing overseas other than the NBA when one of the fans on twitter asked him this question.

Starting his career in 2011 with Sacramento Kings, Thomas went on to play for as many as six NBA teams in his career till now but his recent numbers have dropped in recent years. Isaiah Thomas would be downhearted after the league officials suspended the league until further notice due to the Coronavirus pandemic. He would only hope of getting under any agent’s acknowledgement for a trade as the experienced Thomas might add to the roster depth of any team that needs when the new season starts.
