‘Justice for Rinku Singh..’ Fans vented out on social media after t20 world cup squad announcement
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India will participate in this tournament starting from the month of June. Rinku Singh is selected as a reserved player in the squad.
The BCCI selected 15 players and also kept 4 players as traveling reserve. The names of these 4 players include Shubhman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed. Indian fans are shocked by Rinku Singh’s omission from the final 15 and have reacted in support of the young batsman on social media.
The 15 players of the Indian team include Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah. The names of Mohammad Siraj and Arshdeep Singh are also included.

Fans are unhappy with Rinku’s exclusion in the 15 member squad
Fans are now not happy with the exclusion of Rinku Singh in the 15 member squad. They are saying that Rinku deserves a spot in the 15 member team and not as a reserve player. His performance has been splendid in the recent season of IPL and he proved to be the reason for the team win.
Rinku Singh’s Journey
Born in a working class family in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rinku Singh faced many challenges on his way to cricket stardom. Growing up in humble surroundings, Rinku’s family struggled to make ends meet, with her father working as an LPG cylinder delivery man and her mother a housewife. Despite being offered a job as a sweeper, Rinku followed her passion for cricket, believing it would take her to greater heights.

KKR’s top order has scored most of the runs so far in IPL 2024, leaving Rinku without many opportunities with the bat. However, in his first season, this great batsman from Aligarh had scored 356 runs in 15 matches, out of which he remained unbeaten in seven matches. His runs came at a strike rate of over 175, but power hitting is not his only talent and he is also capable of playing with composure in pressure situations.
