Its been over a year Harbhajan has played any form of competitive cricket. He last played for CSK in the finals of the IPL 2019 against his former team Mumbai Indians. CSK lost the finals by just one run in the end as Shane Watson’s 80 runs could help the side chase the target.

For now, MSD and co. is training in Chepauk and the skipper is apparently happy with the kind of pitch the curators have made. Today is the last day of the men in yellow’s training at the venue before they set off to the UAE tomorrow.

“The red soil is a typical Chepauk wicket which has a bit of turn while the clay wicket is a little greenish suited for pacers. Dhoni was really impressed with the wickets,” a spokesperson told Time of India.

The 53-day tournament is all set to start from September 19 and the matches will be played across Abu Dhabi, UAE and Sharjah. The finals will take place on November 10 i.e., Tuesday and it will be the first time that IPL final will take place on a weekday.
