Ramiz Raja and BCCI

India is currently playing a four-game Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which they currently lead 2-0. They hope to continue dominating the competition and advance to the World Test Championship final.

Australia has already forfeited the chance to defend its championship; the final game will take place at Oval in June 2023.

The Men in Blue would like to win the series 4-0 because they have successfully defended the crown on the last four occasions.

Ramiz Raja, the former PCB Chief, praised India for becoming an absolute superpower in their own conditions after observing the supremacy of the Men in Blue in their own settings.

He added, tracks India make for home series is absolutely spin dominated and they don’t let the opposition to settle easily we have tried the same in our own conditions but failed badly.

He concluded that we need to learn from India on how to make tracks at home and win series.

Ramiz comment came in retrospect to Pakistan home series against Australia which they have lost badly and the organizers were so confused over the wicket they need to prepare to counter opposition.

The next Test match between India and Australia will be played in Holkar Stadium Indore initially it was supposed to be held in Dharmshala but due to wet outfield the venue shifted.
