Babar Azam

Simon Doull, a former New Zealand cricketer turned commentator is now a member of the PSL 2023 expert panel.

Despite Babar achieving his first PSL century against Quetta Gladiators, Doull openly criticised him.

When Zalmi started batting first, they had a solid opening 162 runs stand between Saim Ayub and Babar Azam who were rollicking from the ball one and didn’t let opposition Bowlers to  settle down.

Saim Ayub has been the new emerging star of the tournament with his finesse shot making and effortless sixes, the youngster has become the biggest talking point of PSL.

The moment, Ayub bundled out, it was all down to Azam to ensure that Zalmi reach towards brilliant target later he was complemented by Rovman Povell and eventually scored 240 runs.
