Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian captain, became the first player in history to appear in 150 T20 internationals. During the T20 World Cup match against Ireland on Monday, Kaur achieved this milestone. After India won the toss and decided to bat against Ireland in their final group game, Harmanpreet noted that playing 150 T20 Internationals is a precious moment and received a sentimental response from her teammates.
Following this, she praised the ICC and BCCI as well. Apart from this, Harmanpreet completed 3000 runs, becoming the fourth woman cricketer overall and the first Indian. Suzie Bates of New Zealand is second on the list of players who have played the most t20 international matches with 143 appearances.
