Harmanpreet Kaur becomes first ever cricketer to reach this milestone

Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian captain, became the first player in history to appear in 150 T20 internationals. During the T20 World Cup match against Ireland on Monday, Kaur achieved this milestone. After India won the toss and decided to bat against Ireland in their final group game, Harmanpreet noted that playing 150 T20 Internationals is a precious moment and received a sentimental response from her teammates.

Following this, she praised the ICC and BCCI as well. Apart from this, Harmanpreet completed 3000 runs, becoming the fourth woman cricketer overall and the first Indian. Suzie Bates of New Zealand is second on the list of players who have played the most t20 international matches with 143 appearances.

With 141 matches, Danni Wyatt of England comes in third. Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, holds the record for having played the most Twenty20 International matches, with 148. Shoaib Malik of Pakistan, who has played in 124 matches, and Martin Guptill of New Zealand, who has played in 122 matches, follow him in order.
