The pandemic time has left no option for cricketers then to stay at home and spend some quality time with their family. As India entered in the fifth phase of lockdown, some have returned to training as they are training individually at the moment.
Indian Cricketer Deepak Chahar is one such cricketer who has started his individual training as he is bowling in his father’s academy with his father having a close look at him and his rhythm.
On Wednesday his sister Malti Chahar was also present in the practice session and interestingly both played cricket.
It seems Chahar family is missing IPL at the moment as If IPL would have happened till now it might have been finished till now. As Chahar plays for CSK franchise and has been an exciting prospect for CSK from the last two seasons.
He was injured last year during West Indies tour and has been on sidelines since then and he was expected to get fit during the IPL tour and it seems to have regained full fitness by now.
This post was shared by Malti Chahar on her Instagram page where she can be seen holding a bat and playing shot accordingly. As in the video we can clearly see Deepak Chahar was seen bowling to Malti and he takes a proper run-up and his father is looking closely over his action and surprisingly he bowls underarm when he releases the ball and then Malti is edging the bowl over the slips.
Taking about Deepak Chahar’s international carrier as he has played 3 ODI and 10 T20 and the talent he persists it is clear that he will be playing more for India in the shortest format of the game in the upcoming years.
However, we need to see when the cricket resume post-COVID 19 will he bowl with the same intensity and prove his worth as a bowler for India.
