DC vs KXIP Dream11 Prediction
The IPL 2020 extravaganza has begun. Delhi Capitals and Kings Eleven Punjab are all set to start their campaign on 20th September 2020. Both teams will look to open their accounts in what will be the second game of IPL 2020 on Sunday.
Both teams have a formidable batting line up and have made some valuable inclusions to bolster their middle order. However, the winner could well be decided on which team bowls well, especially in death overs.
Here’s a look at the preview of both the teams:
Delhi Capitals:
The star-studded Delhi Capitals reached the playoffs last year after waiting for 7 long years. The franchise is expected to produce similar results this time around as well and hopefully clinch the title. The side boasts of some powerful batsmen such as Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant to name a few. Delhi has a wonderful batting line up. In a bid to improve their lower-middle order, they made invaluable inclusions in Shimron Hetmyer and Alex Carey. It remains to be seen who plays between the two.
For death bowling, Rabada and Ishant Sharma will once again be coming to the fore, while the spin bowling duties are likely to be shared between Ravi Ashwin and Amit Mishra.
Kings Eleven Punjab:
With a new skipper in KL Rahul, Kings XI Punjab looks a far better side than last year. The middle-order was a concern in the previous season, but not on this occasion. The franchise would hope Maxwell to turn up with consistent performances. Sarfaraz Khan had a spectacular domestic season and is looking in great touch. He could well be a breakthrough star this year.
With Sheldon Cottrell, Kings Eleven Punjab are hoping that they have solved their death-over woes. It remains to be seen how he along with Mohammed Shami performs in the power play as well as death overs.
Ravi Bishnoi performed brilliantly in the 2020 under-19 World Cup. The Indian spinner is likely to excel in the UAE conditions. He should make to Punjab’s playing eleven ahead of their first game against Delhi Capitals.
