WTC Final 2023: Analysis of previous finals in cricket history

WTC Final 2023

As the WTC final between India and Australia is all set to start on June 7, 2023, both teams look horn.

India has reached both finals, but unfortunately, they lost the first final against New Zealand at Southampton. Now they are back with a strong line-up and are favourites to win the trophy against Australia at the Oval.

Meanwhile, India has started its training camp in England. The pacer and spinner were at the nets and spinning the ball. And both the pacer and spinner are hitting the traps, so it will be one of the most special deliveries to Australia to create pressure.

Previously Both India and New Zealand played well in the previous WTC final. It was a nightmare for India because New Zealand won the WTC Final. The target of 139 in 50 overs is not just a piece of cake, but Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson made a massive partnership of 96 runs in 28 overs.

But now that India has learned lessons from the past, things have changed. India is well prepared to fight against Australia at the Oval. Siraj took 47 wickets in his test career. While  against Australia, he took 14 wickets in six matches. On the other hand, Australia has one of the best pace bowling attacks, with Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood bowling the ball and swinging outside off stump and will create pressure . At the same time, Siraj and Mohammad Shami  hitting the deck hard will role  their fingers on the seam of the ball, putting pressure on the Aussie by taking wickets.

It will be one of the most essential WTC finals in 2023. The test match between India and Australia, one of the most crucial test matches at the WTC final in 2023, will be a thriller.

Australia will provide a tough fight, and India needs to prepare well. On the other hand, India will miss Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah. In that slot, Surya Kumar Yadav has to be filled.

There were many reasons India lost against New Zealand, including because the bowler could not take wickets in the lower order and also because the contribution of the tail needed to be better. But now India’s seat is ready to give a tough fight against Australia. While Australia’s tailender was exceptionally destructive, both team players could destroy  with each other and create huge pressure .

As they have shown potential and played with their best option, there should not be any change to give Australia a massive advantage in the WTC final in 2023.

Both teams will fight for the test mace. India will miss Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah, and it will be a tough call, and India needs to face it. Overall, India and Australia have played well, and they will recreate history and win the WTC final.

Jaydev Unadakt’s return to the team was one of the fantastic boosts for Sirja Mohammad Shami, and it will be a unique combination. On the other hand, Josh Hazelwood returns to the Australian squad. It will also be a significant boost for the Australian team.

Hence, from the last final team, India is well prepared for the WTC Final 2023 to play against Australia, and it is one of the most important tournaments Australia and India are create history.
