“Every comeback is greater than a setback”. At least that is what all of us can hope for Star Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant who is making a speedy recovery. The Uttarakhand born batter suffered a terrifying car crash last year in December 2022 while coming back to his residence at New Delhi to surprise his family for the New Year’s.
However, mid-way through the Journey, Rishabh Pant fell a little asleep and his car got smashed to the dividers in the road. It was just because of his sheer life that he only sustained a few injuries otherwise accidents like these are often life threatening.

Its been more than 4 months since that accident and Rishabh Pant is slowly but steadily on his way to recovery. Exactly 20 days ago, the 25-year-old took to Instagram and uploaded a video of his walking without any support (crunches). And earlier today another recovery video of Pant is going viral.
In various different clips, he can be seen walking through Mumbai Airport all by his own without any help. However, he did have a Knee cap on but it is good to see him recover so fast. The left-handed batter underwent several surgeries and is still a long way from making his comeback in the cricketing circuit.
Last year, he Captained Delhi Capitals to a 5th placed finish and this year in his absence, DC finished IPL 2023 in the 9th position. The North-Indian franchise definitely missed his services and so will the Indian team. Rishabh Pant has been sidelined for the WTC final as well as the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, where he was actually supposed to play a key role.

Any date or month regarding his comeback has not been confirmed yet but his comeback will be a one to watch. In T20Is, Rishabh Pant has scored 987 runs in 56 innings. In Test cricket, he has 2271 runs in 56 innings.
