10 Reasons why India will never qualify for FIFA World Cup Ever?
Indian Football is facing severe doldrums, in terms of performance and results and stakeholders who are working hard behind the scenes have to take hard practical decisions otherwise they will lag big time to compete at International Standard.
Here in this article we will reveal 10 Reasons why India would never qualify for FIFA World Cup Ever to be shared in the below format:

10. Fan Culture is lacking Big Time in India:
You will be surprised with this fact, India has bigger football fan base, but most of them are passionate about future football clubs including the likes of- Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United & Chelsea.
Some of the Indian clubs do enjoy massive fan following including the likes of – Mohun Bagan FC, East Bengal FC and Bengal FC.
Fans are certainly in huge numbers, but they lack directions when it comes to coming back on the same page, and start rooting for their favorite football team.
So proper fan culture should be developed and someone should come up and take initiatives, so that fans can root for their favorite stars and teams where they can make stadiums fall and inspire players from the stands.
9. Worst International Exposure:
Any National team can do wonders if they gets regular opportunities to compete against best players in the world, who belongs to world class teams for that they need to have International Exposure where they can travel there and compete against them.
Most Fixtures of Indian Football Team is pitched against Lower ranked teams, you will not substantially grow if you keep playing lower ranked teams in Football.
The worst thing can happen as team if you are not playing World Class team, at regular intervals, you will not develop confidence where they can extend their confidence to apply their skills in the crunch phase of the game.
Without consistent exposure at International Cities, it won’t be possible to do wonders for India.
8. Fitness Issues in Indian Team as Per International Standards:
Modern Football has become fast paced and animated, it has become more demanding Sport. while Indian players have passion for work ethic but they lack big time when it comes to stamina, fast pace speed and recovery time.
There are couple of reason why Indian Football is lacking big time, which include variety of topics which include- Sports Nutrition, recovery methods and training period.
Indian football certainly lack quality training center if they aren’t developed in times to come it will compromise fitness issues of these players.
7. Youth Development is simply not there in Indian Football:
Every player in Indian team will get accelerated from bottom tier or grassroot level and youth development program plays an important role in shaping future of Indian football which is simply non existent.
If someone who wants to play for Indian Football team, they hardly know from where to approach from youth level to highest level.
The biggest reason why Grassroot program in Indian Youth Football is non existent as it is simply underfunded and lacks transparency.
Without credible football academy and clubs, It will become extremely difficult to sharpen their skills at grassroot level.
6. Domestic Leagues is not Helping Indian Football at All:
Indian Football Domestic League including the likes of- Indian Super League and I-League is not helping Indian football team at all, as they aren’t played for 12 months in calendar year unlike European and English Football where clubs play football for 365 days.
Also the quality of football is not upto the mark, where foreign players are accelarating and Indian players barring few are hardly giving tough time to any opponents which in itself speaks about sad state of Indian Football.
5. PR Marketing Strategy is lacking big time:
Indian football is lacking big time in PR(Public Relations) Strategy, as most occasions neither fan who don’t follow I-League or ISL vividly will hardly know, when this tournament will begun.
This is biggest reason why they are failing to attract non football fan to watch this sport.
In other words, there is no marketing strategy which is strategically in place, due to which they are failing big time, to draw viewership from people to watch I-League and ISL.
4. Infrastructure in Indian Football a Big Mess:
Let me tell you the current state of Indian football where these ardent player train- at most places Gym is not upto the mark.
Reccovery and rehabilitation process is not under place.
Broken Goal Posts, Uneven fields, No floodlights and worst changing rooms if you simply compare these facilities with UEFA current infrastructure trust me you will never dream as fan to expect Indian football team to qualify for Olympics.
3. There is so much talent in Indian Football, It’s Just they aren’t get stage:
Agreed, there is so much talent in Indian Football in both offence and defence, you will see several Messi and Ronaldo on streets of Kolkata, Manipur and Kerala but what’s sad to see their talent is not getting recognized.
Everything runs in tandem- If talent is not getting recongnized
It will not channelized
If it is not channelized the talent will go in dustbin
If the talent goes in dustbin a dream which could have shaped and represented India went to the ashes.

2. Too Much Politics in Indian Football Federation:
There is too much Politics in Indian Football Federation due to which they have faced difficulty when it comes to talking decision for the benefit of Indian Football.
The focus is sharing power position rather than focusing on the development of Indian football where focus is too much on which positions they are sitting instead of Building policies through which they can benefit Indian football.
Corruption issues are more viable in Indian Football Federation which needs to be controlled for the way going forward otherwise Indian Football would never move in right direction.
1. Cricket is Religion in India; Football is Background Noise:
That’s not my perspective, it is a point of view where Cricket which is played by less country is touted as religion in India whereas Football is treated as Background noise.
If you simply seek, IPL has become one of the most popular Cricket league in the world whereas ISL is hardly known by few in India and if you compare this to World Stage it is simply lacking big time in International Football.
Overall, Indian Football needs structural and robust changes if these things are not taken into consideration, it will certainly go down in doldrums.
Considering all factors in Detail it seems that India would never be able to qualify for FIFA World Cup ever until and unless they address these changes to wider extent.
