As he said “It’s been 2 months that we have not to step outside from our house and also it has been a difficult time for all of us as players and we are waiting to get back on the field to be together as a team again here at Valdebebas. It’s different when you have to do it home, but everyone has trained very well. We did all the coach asked of us and we are in good shape. In general, everyone is feeling positive” as officially quoted on the club website.

He further added that “All the goalkeepers were lucky because we were able to train with our specific coach last week. This week we are back in small groups, at least they can take shots on us. It feels like we are resuming proper training during COVID 19. We are also keen to restart La Liga and we will give our best to win it”.

La Liga has been suspended due to the coronavirus, and that has also hit the other sporting events.

On Monday, La Liga clubs returned to training with a maximum of 10 players allowed who can train together. This is considered a great initiative to start professional football again in Spain as Germany has started Bundesliga under a closed door at the moment where the exciting matches are taking place.

As all the Spanish club players have resumed individual training from May 4th, 2020 as a country begin to ease down the lockdown which enabled Real Madrid players returned to training following strict health measures on May 11th.

Real Madrid stands second in the list after Barcelona in La Liga before the season was suspended due to this ongoing pandemic.
