The news of Yuvraj Singh making his debut in a web-series has been doing rounds for a couple of days and it was announced that Yuvraj will indeed be making an appearance in a web-series with wife Hazel Keech and brother Zorawar.
But it seems they were all baseless rumors because the former Indian cricketer has finally opened up about the matter and noted that he is not going to be a part of any series whatsoever.
Taking it to Twitter, the left-hand batsman wrote that the recent news of him making an appearance in the upcoming series is factually “incorrect” and it will only feature his younger brother, not him. He also urged the media to take measures before running such news.
“Just to put some things in to correct perspective with regards to the recent news on me making a debut into web series is factually incorrect, the web series features my younger brother and not me. I request all my friends in the media to take corrective measures on the same. ThankYou,” Yuvraj tweeted regarding the news.

The comments by Yuvraj come after his mother Shabnam Singh shared at the launch event of the series that Yuvraj will be working in the series. She also explained that the series will focus more on Zoravar, who will be the central character of the show. Meanwhile, the world will be able to see the real chemistry between the two brothers and Yuvraj’s connection with wife Hazel Keech.
“The world will get to see the real Yuvraj Singh and Zoravar Singh. The central character of the web series is focused on my younger son Zoravar and as a mother, I am proud of both my sons and daughter-in-law,” she said.
His brother, Zoravar Singh, will be playing the lead role in the series while their mother Shabnam Singh will also be attached to the upcoming project. Dream House Productionz, an Assam-based organization, will be handling all the operations.
On the other hand, Yuvraj will be playing in the upcoming Road Safety World Series under the leadership of Sachin Tendulkar. Both the cricketers will be joined by players like Ajit Agarkar, Mohammad Kaif, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan and many more.
The first match of the series will take place between India Legends and West Indies Legends at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 7. The final will be held at the Brabourne Stadium on March 22.
